Customer Contribution: Arca in Olive

This week we recieved an update from Kevin (NY).

"Dear PC-blogspot.com,

The Leffot MTOs have arrived, and with them my Arcas in olive. These have purple piping and lining (not lime green and dark brown, respectively, as previously reported)."
My Wilfrids were made on the wrong last and so need to be remade, which gives me something to look forward to as I break these in.

Customer Contribution: Arca in Blue

Last week we recieved another very nice customer contribution.
The second contribution from Kevin (NY).
"Dear PC-blogspot.com,
This weekend my girlfriend and I were out for a walk and decided to stroll through Saks. Imagine my excitement when I came across this pair of Arca bleu in my size, which had arrived two days before. The toes and heels are an intense blue, with a beautiful fade to indigo and then black. The soles are purple. I was the first--and last--customer to try them on.
KLIK HERE for Kevin's first contribution
Kevin also told us that he also ordered two MTO's:
- Arca, olive, lime green piping and brown lining
- Wilfrid, vieux bois and brown suede, 001 last
When the arive, we hope he will share these with us !!

Customer Contribution: Bespoke loafer

A few weeks ago we recieved a picture from a bespoke Corthay loafer.
Unfortunately the creating process of this model is unknown, because the owner bought these shoes from an other owner with the exact the same measurements.

Thank you Paul !

Customer Contribution: Jouvet

Last week we recieved two very nice picture from the model "Jouvet", accompanied
by a vintage Vacheron Constantin 6272 in yellow gold.
The patine is in chocolat.

Thanks James !!

"The Jouvets were purchased in the Tokyo boutique in 2008. Many thanks to the very friendly staff who were most obliging in providing me with very speedy service with the patina application.

I was on a fleeting visit and had only a few hours to spare - fortunately the staff offered an immediate on the spot application - doing what would normally take a week's wait in only 2 hours!

A raw pair of Jouvets were polished to a lustrous chocolate brown patina with very careful and loving hands!

I cannot wait to make my next visit and express my sincere appreciation!

Best regards to all Corthay conoisseurs,

A burst of Arca ...
